Help & Troubleshooting
Finding Solutions to Common Problems
Wikiwoop brings together social networking, content creation, communication, discovery, and digital asset experiences within one application. While these features are designed to work together, members may occasionally encounter technical difficulties, unexpected behavior, or situations where something does not appear as expected.
A publication may fail to upload, a verification code may not arrive, a notification may be delayed, or a wallet transaction may take longer than expected to appear. In many cases, these issues can be investigated by reviewing the relevant settings, confirming account information, or checking the status of the affected activity.
This guide provides practical troubleshooting information for common situations members may encounter while using Wikiwoop. It explains possible causes, suggests appropriate actions, and identifies when contacting the support team may be necessary.
The objective is to make problem-solving more straightforward so members can return to their normal activities with minimal interruption.
Help & Troubleshooting
Having trouble signing in, publishing, finding a reward, or checking a wallet transfer? Choose the area below, then open the problem that matches what you're experiencing. Each guide presents practical checks in a clear sequence.
Account Access and Sign-In Problems
- Confirm that you are using the correct account credentials and sign-in method. Check that your internet connection works and reopen the Wikiwoop app.
- If you have forgotten your password, follow the available account recovery process and verify that you can access your registered email or telephone number.
- If the problem continues, contact official support with the error message, but never share a password or verification code.
- Check that your email address or phone number is correct. For email, look in spam, junk, or filtered folders. For SMS, verify that your phone has mobile service and can receive messages.
- Avoid repeatedly requesting codes in quick succession; use the available resend option after the initial attempt.
- If delivery still fails, report whether email or SMS is affected through an official support channel. Never share verification codes with other people.
- Open the profile editing controls and confirm you are changing an editable field. Your display name can be updated, but your registered username is permanent.
- Check your connection and reopen the profile to see whether your change saved.
- If an editable field still fails to update, provide support with the field name and any error shown.
Content Creation and Publishing Issues
- Check your internet connection, verify that the selected media file is accessible, and make sure Wikiwoop has the required photo or media permissions.
- Try a different compatible file to see whether the issue affects one item or all uploads.
- If the failure persists, reopen the app and include the content format, approximate file size, and any error message in a support request.
- Review the audience selected for the publication.
- Following someone does not guarantee access to content restricted to Private Connections, Specific Users, or another audience.
- Confirm that the publication was successfully published and consider whether blocking or account restrictions are relevant.
- If an eligible viewer still cannot see it, report the publication and audience setting to support.
- Check that the two images were selected in the intended order, with the starting image and the resulting image positioned correctly.
- Review the preview before publishing.
- If the comparison still displays incorrectly after publication, reopen the post and provide support with a description or a screenshot of the problem.
- Try another available video and verify your connection.
- If only one video fails, it may be a problem with that publication; if all videos fail, the issue may involve your connection or app.
- Reopen Wikiwoop and check for updates. When reporting the problem, say whether it affects one video, all videos, or only WooVids.
Search and Content Discovery Problems
- Check the spelling of the username or display name, and try searching by exact username if available. An account may also have been deleted, restricted, or become inaccessible to you.
- If you expect it to be available, give support the username and describe the search results you receive.
- Search for the creator, subject, or related hashtag and review relevant Topics or Discussions. Publications limited to a specific audience may not appear in general discovery.
- The creator may also have removed the post or changed who can see it. If content you should be able to access remains missing, report the details to support.
- Try more precise keywords, such as a destination, type of activity, or specific hashtag instead of a broad topic. Related Topics and public Discussions may help you find relevant material.
- If the same query consistently returns unrelated results or errors, provide support with the exact search term and the type of result you expected.
Following, Private Connections, and Messaging
- Following does not automatically grant access to all publications.
- The author may have selected Following, Private Connections, Specific Users, or another restricted audience. Check the relationship and content audience where visible.
- Report a suspected access error only if you believe the publication should be available to your account.
- Private Connections require mutual participation.
- Check whether a connection request is pending, was declined, or is unavailable due to account-level restrictions.
- If the process repeatedly fails despite the expected conditions being met, contact support with the account and the behavior you encounter.
- Check your connection and reopen the affected conversation to see whether the message appears in history. Determine whether this occurs with one person or several contacts.
- Account communication controls may limit messaging.
- If the issue persists, share the approximate time and visible error with support, but avoid disclosing unnecessary private conversation content.
Notifications and Device Settings
- Check the relevant notification preferences within Wikiwoop and your phone’s system notification permissions. Focus, Do Not Disturb, and similar settings may delay or suppress alerts.
- Open the app to see whether the underlying message or activity exists even though no push notification appeared. If the problem persists, identify which notification types are affected.
- Open Wikiwoop notification preferences and adjust the supported categories.
- You may wish to prioritize direct communication and account-related updates while reducing less urgent activity alerts. Your device settings may also offer notification summaries and other controls.
Participation Rewards and Referral Issues
- Open the appropriate Rewards category and check its activity history.
- Not every social interaction qualifies, and an eligible reward may appear as pending or locked instead of available.
- If you believe the relevant conditions were met but no record appears, report the reward category, activity type, and approximate date to support.
- Check that the invited member registered using the appropriate invitation code or supported referral method.
- Review your invitation history, since sharing a code does not by itself complete a qualifying referral.
- If a completed eligible registration is missing, contact support with the available invitation details, not the invitee’s private account credentials.
- Ongoing referral earnings depend on an invitee remaining active and publishing eligible content with the Public audience setting.
- Content restricted to Followers, Private Connections, Private, or other limited audiences does not qualify for this mechanism.
- The public publication must also satisfy the reward program’s conditions.
- Review referral and activity history, then contact support if qualifying usage appears missing.
- Verify that you own an eligible original hashtag and that another member used it in qualifying public content. Restricted content and nonqualifying activity may not create royalty rewards.
- No specific earning amount is guaranteed.
- If eligible uses appear unrecognized, report the hashtag and relevant public publication details to support.
- The Rewards screen may display recorded, pending, locked, or unclaimed allocations, while the wallet displays blockchain assets at the selected address.
- Review any available claiming or conversion history and check that you are viewing the correct wallet address and asset.
- If the records still disagree unexpectedly, report the relevant reward category and transaction reference.
- Certain reward categories apply a 30-day inactivity condition and may forfeit qualifying unclaimed or locked allocations.
- Merely opening the app may not count as genuine qualifying activity. Check the relevant program history and status.
- Wallet-held assets and applicable vesting arrangements are separate from inactivity-related forfeiture. Contact support if the recorded status seems incorrect.
Wallet and Blockchain Transaction Issues
- Confirm you have selected the intended wallet address, network, and asset.
- Multiple addresses can have separate balances, and WOC, compatible tokens, and NFTs may appear in different views. If you are expecting a recent transfer, check its network confirmation status.
- If a confirmed balance remains missing, provide support with the public address and transaction information.
- Check the sender’s transaction history for the transaction identifier, destination address, asset, network, amount, and status.
- A pending transaction may not yet have completed confirmation. If it is confirmed, verify that the recipient is viewing the correct address and network.
- You may provide the public transaction identifier to support; finalized blockchain transactions generally cannot be reversed.
- Blockchain operations may incur gas fees that depend on the transaction and network configuration.
- Review the completed transaction details to identify the recorded gas charge, and distinguish it from any separately disclosed service fee.
- If the displayed fee does not match the transaction record, contact support with its transaction identifier.
- Look for a securely saved copy of your recovery phrase.
- If your wallet remains accessible on an existing device, examine its supported recovery and security options before signing out or uninstalling.
- Social-account recovery does not automatically recover cryptographic wallet credentials; without those credentials, access may be impossible.
- Never send a recovery phrase or private key to support or anyone else.
Features, Updates, and Compatibility
- Check whether the feature is currently available, in limited testing, planned, or still in development, and verify your installed app version.
- Music, Playlists, Podcasts, and Professional Creator Tools are in development; expanded Marketplace and Events capabilities are also being developed.
- Consult What’s Coming to Wikiwoop or the Roadmap for the intended direction.
- Navigation controls and screen layouts may change between releases.
- Check that your app is up to date, then look for the corresponding function in the latest interface.
- If you cannot locate it, tell support the feature, app version, and screen where you expected it.
- Check your internet connection and whether the problem affects the whole app or a single feature. Reopen the app, check for updates, and verify available device storage.
- Before uninstalling, ensure that any activated wallet’s recovery information has been securely preserved.
- If the issue continues, include your device model, operating system, app version, and observed behavior in a support request.
Contacting Wikiwoop Support
- Contact official Wikiwoop Support when account access repeatedly fails, publishing or messaging errors persist, eligible reward activity appears missing, or a wallet transaction needs clarification.
- Explain the issue and whether it occurs consistently, so support can investigate the correct part of the platform.
- Describe what you tried, what you expected, what happened, and when the problem occurred.
- Include the affected feature, app version, device information, and any non-sensitive screenshot or error message. For wallet issues, a public transaction identifier can be helpful.
- Never provide passwords, verification codes, recovery phrases, or private keys.
