Participation & Rewards

Understanding Your Participation Rewards

Wikiwoop's participation reward ecosystem introduces opportunities for members to receive digital recognition for qualifying activities within the platform. Whether someone contributes original content, participates in relevant discussions, or helps introduce new members to the community, certain activities may be recognized through different reward programs.

Unlike ordinary social engagement, which may be reflected through views, comments, or other interactions, participation rewards are associated with specific qualifying activities. The system distinguishes between the different ways members contribute, allowing rewards to be organized according to the relevant program rather than treating every interaction as identical.

The Rewards experience provides members with information about their qualifying activity, recorded rewards, and available balances. Understanding how these categories work makes it easier to interpret the information displayed in the app and recognize the difference between a recorded reward, an available allocation, and a completed digital asset transaction.

Welcome Rewards and Getting Started

Wikiwoop includes a welcome reward experience designed to introduce eligible new members to the platform's participation ecosystem. When a member registers and completes the applicable onboarding requirements, a welcome allocation may be recorded under the relevant reward category.

This introductory reward allows new members to become familiar with the rewards area and understand how qualifying allocations are displayed. It also provides an opportunity to learn the distinction between receiving a platform-issued reward and having digital assets immediately available in a blockchain wallet.

A welcome allocation may have its own availability requirements and is not necessarily transferable when it first appears. Members can review the relevant reward information within the app to understand its status and whether additional conditions apply before it becomes available.

Welcome rewards are separate from rewards earned through later participation, invitations, or other qualifying activities. Each category maintains its own purpose within the wider reward ecosystem.

Rewards Through Social Participation

Participation Rewards are connected to qualifying activities that contribute to Wikiwoop's social environment. These may involve eligible original content, meaningful contributions to discussions, or other recognized forms of activity within the platform.

The reward system evaluates qualifying participation according to the applicable program. As a result, publishing a Post, receiving engagement, or spending time browsing does not automatically mean that a reward has been generated. The activity must qualify under the relevant reward criteria.

For example, a member might share an original publication that contributes something useful to the community. If the activity satisfies the conditions of an applicable reward program, the corresponding reward may be recorded in the member's account. The recorded amount and its availability are then reflected through the relevant reward experience.

Members can use their reward history to understand which qualifying activities have been recognized and how those rewards are progressing through their applicable stages. This creates a distinction between ordinary social participation and the specific contributions recognized by the reward system.

Invitations and Referral Rewards

Wikiwoop's invitation and referral experiences allow existing members to introduce new people to the platform while participating in its community growth programs. Through the available invitation functionality, a member can share an invitation code or supported invitation method with someone interested in joining Wikiwoop.

When a new member registers using an eligible invitation, the relationship between the inviting member and the invited account can be recorded within the referral system. Depending on the applicable reward program, qualifying registration and participation may result in rewards for the inviter, the invited member, or both.

Referral rewards are distinct from Participation Rewards because they are associated with eligible member introductions rather than ordinary content creation or social interactions. Some referral allocations may also include additional locked rewards that become available only after the relevant program conditions are satisfied.

The invitation experience provides a way to review associated activity and available reward information. Where supported, members can also explore the accounts associated with their invitations and understand how their referral activity contributes to the program.

A successful invitation is therefore more than sending a link or code. It connects a new registration to the referral ecosystem and creates opportunities for additional social participation as the invited member begins using the platform.

Ongoing Earnings From Your Invitees

Wikiwoop's referral ecosystem goes beyond rewarding members for introducing new people to the platform. It also creates opportunities for inviters to continue earning rewards through the qualifying activity of the members they have invited.

When someone joins Wikiwoop using your invitation code and remains active on the platform, their continued participation can contribute to your ongoing referral earnings. This means that your invitation can create a lasting connection within the reward ecosystem rather than representing only a one-time registration reward.

An important part of this earning mechanism is the visibility of the invited member's content. Ongoing referral earnings are connected to qualifying public publications made by active invitees. When an invited member continues participating and publishing eligible content with the Public audience setting, their activity can generate additional rewards for the member who originally invited them.

For example, imagine inviting a friend who enjoys photography. After joining Wikiwoop, your friend regularly publishes original photographs, shares public posts, and remains active in the community. As long as their activity meets the applicable reward requirements, their qualifying public publications can continue contributing to your referral earnings.

However, not every activity performed by an invitee qualifies. Content shared with restricted audiences, such as Followers, Private Connections, Private, or Specific Users, does not qualify for this public-content-based referral earning mechanism. Simply having an invited member registered on the platform is also not sufficient. The member must remain active and continue publishing qualifying public content.

This creates a distinction between the initial reward associated with a successful invitation and the ongoing rewards connected to the invitee's eligible participation. The initial referral reward recognizes the introduction of a new member, while ongoing referral earnings recognize qualifying public publishing activity by that member over time.

The invitation experience allows members to review their invitee-related information and associated rewards through the available referral and reward interfaces.

This approach connects community growth with continued participation, encouraging members to introduce people who are genuinely interested in contributing to Wikiwoop rather than focusing only on registrations. An invitation can therefore become the beginning of an ongoing reward opportunity as new members develop their own presence within the community.

Hashtag Royalty Rewards

Wikiwoop's reward ecosystem also includes royalty opportunities associated with eligible hashtag ownership. When a member creates and establishes ownership of an original hashtag, that hashtag can become a source of ongoing rewards as other members use it in qualifying public publications.

Unlike Participation Rewards, which recognize a member's own eligible activities, hashtag royalties recognize qualifying usage of an owned hashtag by other members. This means the hashtag owner does not need to publish the content personally to become eligible for the associated royalty reward.

For example, a member who owns an original hashtag related to photography may receive royalty rewards when other members include that hashtag in their qualifying public posts. As the hashtag gains recognition and is used across the community, it can create additional earning opportunities for its owner.

Royalty earnings depend on qualifying hashtag usage and the applicable reward conditions. There is no guaranteed earning amount, fixed income, or promised return. The number of times a hashtag is used does not by itself establish a guaranteed reward value.

Hashtag royalties form a separate earning opportunity within Wikiwoop's broader reward ecosystem. Members interested in understanding hashtag creation, ownership, and digital identity can find additional information in the Digital Ownership & Collectibles chapter.

Understanding Pool Rewards

Pool Rewards provides another category within Wikiwoop's participation reward ecosystem. It is designed to present qualifying pool-related reward opportunities separately from welcome allocations, ordinary Participation Rewards, and referral-based rewards.

Members can explore Pool Rewards through its dedicated area, where the relevant activity, allocations, and available balance information are presented. This separation helps members distinguish rewards associated with a pool program from those received through other forms of participation.

Like other platform reward categories, a pool allocation may have a particular status before becoming available. A recorded or locked Pool Reward should therefore not be confused with WOC already held in a blockchain wallet.

The Pool Rewards experience allows members to follow the relevant information associated with their account without needing to combine every reward category into a single balance. This makes the overall reward system easier to understand and helps members identify where different allocations originate.

Understanding Reward Balances and Statuses

One of the most important aspects of Wikiwoop's reward ecosystem is understanding that a displayed reward amount does not always represent digital assets that can immediately be transferred.

Rewards can pass through different stages depending on their program and eligibility conditions. A reward may be recorded after a qualifying activity, remain pending while its conditions are evaluated, or appear as locked until the relevant requirements have been satisfied. Other rewards may become available for claiming or conversion through supported functionality.

The Rewards experience may distinguish recorded, pending, locked, available, claimed, and converted amounts according to the applicable category. These statuses explain the position of a reward within its lifecycle and help members understand what they can do with it.

For example, a member may see a recorded reward associated with an eligible referral while the amount remains locked. Although the reward is reflected in the account, it is not necessarily available for conversion or transfer at that stage. When the relevant conditions have been met, the applicable balance and status can change.

Reviewing the reward category, amount, and status together provides a more accurate understanding than looking at the numerical balance alone.

Reward Unlocking and Availability

Wikiwoop's reward system includes an unlocking framework connected to the development and growth of its social economy. Under the approved economic model, certain platform-issued rewards and allocations remain restricted until the platform reaches the milestone of one million legitimate registered users.

This milestone is part of the distinction between recognizing eligible participation and making the associated digital value available. A reward can be recorded within a program before its relevant unlocking conditions have been satisfied.

The approved allocation model also includes an initial release of 10% for applicable allocations after the qualifying milestone, with the remaining 90% subject to the corresponding vesting arrangements. Not every reward category necessarily follows an identical release schedule, so the availability of a particular reward depends on the program under which it was allocated.

For members, the important distinction is that a recorded reward, an unlocked reward, and a transferable digital asset represent different stages. The relevant reward information helps identify whether an amount remains restricted or has become available through the supported process.

The platform's growth milestone and vesting structure are part of the broader WOC economic design, which is explained in greater detail in the Wikiwoop Whitepaper.

Activity, Inactivity, and Reward Eligibility

Wikiwoop's reward ecosystem is designed around genuine participation rather than account registration alone. Maintaining eligibility for certain platform-issued rewards can therefore depend on continued qualifying activity.

The approved inactivity model uses a 30-day period for relevant reward categories. When an account remains inactive under the applicable program conditions, certain unclaimed or locked rewards may be forfeited. This can affect welcome rewards, referral-related rewards, qualifying Participation Rewards, and Pool Rewards according to their respective rules.

The distinction between genuine activity and simply accessing the application is important. Opening Wikiwoop or signing in without performing qualifying activity does not necessarily reset the inactivity period. The activity must satisfy the applicable participation requirements.

The reward categories also differ in how inactivity affects them. Certain welcome or referral allocations may be forfeited according to their program conditions, while Participation Rewards and Pool Rewards are affected only to the extent that relevant amounts remain unclaimed or locked. Applicable vesting arrangements are not automatically canceled by inactivity.

Digital assets already held in a member's wallet are separate from platform-issued reward allocations and are not erased merely because the account becomes inactive.

Understanding these differences helps members recognize that inactivity conditions concern specific reward programs rather than every form of digital value associated with their account.

From Reward Tokens to WOC

Wikiwoop's reward ecosystem uses internal reward units alongside WOC, the native digital coin of WoopChain. These units serve different purposes and should not be treated as interchangeable balances.

Internal reward tokens are associated with the platform's participation accounting system. They represent eligible reward amounts recorded through the relevant program and may be subject to locking, unlocking, or other availability requirements.

WOC is the blockchain-native digital asset used for supported on-chain activity. It can be managed through the integrated Wallet and used in compatible transactions on WoopChain.

Where supported, eligible reward tokens can be converted into WOC through the platform's conversion functionality. This process connects an available reward balance to the digital asset ecosystem. The relevant conversion information is presented through the applicable interface.

A conversion is distinct from the original activity that generated the reward. Participation establishes the eligible reward record, while conversion is a later operation that becomes relevant when the reward is available for that purpose.

Claiming Rewards and Managing Available Value

Claiming is the process through which an eligible reward becomes available under the relevant reward program. The precise experience depends on the category and the functionality provided within the app.

Members can review their available reward balances and the actions supported for those balances. When a reward is eligible for claiming or conversion, the corresponding interface provides the relevant information needed to complete the action.

After a supported conversion into WOC, the resulting digital asset balance is managed through the associated wallet functionality. Blockchain transfers then operate according to WoopChain's transaction process rather than the internal reward accounting system.

This separation allows members to distinguish the history of earning a reward from the subsequent use of an available digital asset.

A useful approach is to review the reward's origin, current status, eligibility, and available actions before beginning a claim or conversion. Doing so helps clarify the relationship between the reward program and the resulting wallet activity.

Keeping Track of Your Reward Activity

Wikiwoop's Rewards experience provides a central place for members to review relevant participation information. Rather than relying on a single displayed number, members can explore the reward categories and their associated balances or activity records.

For example, someone who participates in discussions and also invites new members may have reward information associated with more than one program. Reviewing each category separately helps identify whether an allocation originated from participation, an invitation, a referral, or Pool Rewards.

Reward history also helps members understand changes in their balances. An amount may move between statuses, become eligible for a supported operation, or be reflected in a completed claiming or conversion activity.

Regularly reviewing these details can help members stay informed about their reward experience without confusing platform-issued allocations with digital assets held in the wallet.

The dedicated Rewards and Wallet areas have different responsibilities, and using both appropriately provides a clearer view of participation-related value.

Making Participation Meaningful

Rewards introduce an additional opportunity within Wikiwoop, but the reward system is intended to operate alongside a genuine social experience. Members contribute to the platform in different ways, whether through original publications, informative discussions, community participation, or introducing people who share similar interests.

A member who publishes a thoughtful explanation may help someone understand an unfamiliar subject. A photograph may inspire another person's creativity, while a useful contribution to a discussion can encourage a broader exchange of ideas. An invitation may introduce someone to a community where they discover new interests and relationships.

These contributions create social value regardless of whether every activity qualifies for a digital reward. The reward ecosystem adds recognition to selected eligible participation while preserving the importance of creativity, communication, knowledge sharing, and community development.

Wikiwoop's participation reward system is designed to connect qualifying contributions with digital opportunities, while giving members a clearer way to understand their rewards, track their availability, and explore the wider social economy.
